What it captures

Each flow is a .md file: the diagram opens as a canvas in Obsidian, and the same file stays readable as text · step tables, links between processes, complete data.

Install

You need Obsidian (free), then:

  1. Download leanflow-0.1.2.zip (version 0.1.2, 284 KB).
  2. Unzip it into your vault's .obsidian/plugins/ folder: a leanflow/ folder appears with its three files. (.obsidian is a hidden folder: on Mac, Cmd+Shift+. shows hidden folders in the Finder.)
  3. Obsidian → Settings → Community plugins: enable LeanFlow.
  4. Run the "LeanFlow: new flow" command: the LeanFlow/ folder is created with an example process and a dashboard.

Individual files if you prefer: main.js · styles.css · manifest.json, to drop into .obsidian/plugins/leanflow/.

LeanFlow was born in the field, on assignment in SMEs, to capture the strong and weak signals of a workstation very fast. It is used for real before being published.
